Whether you are an individual, organisation, school or a group, there are so many ways that you can support us and get involved. For those of you with a busy lifestyle, we have initiatives already in place and for those with more time available, there are plenty of alternatives. Below we have listed just a few:

  • Become a collection box holder - our collection boxes are in homes, offices and retail outlets across the two counties – loose change really does make a big difference and is a vital source of income for us.

  • Fundraise as an organisation - fundraise with your colleagues or group members with the aim of raising the cost of one life-saving mission.

  • Hold a fundraising event in aid of us (village fete, cake sales, charity ball, ride out…. the list of ways is endless)

  • In memory giving - a wonderful way of family and friends donating to charity in lieu of sending flowers or remembering a loved one.

  • Join our Flight for Life Lottery - It only costs £5 a month which includes a ticket into our weekly draw plus a monthly ticket into our Superdraw.

  • Leave a gift in your Will - help ensure that we can continue our life-saving service and be there for every patient who needs us.

  • Mufti/dress down days or 'go yellow/green' with your outfit or fancy dress costumes - a great way that schools, colleges and universities can have fun and raise funds at the same time.

  • Air Ambulance Week - this takes place during the first week of September every year. Why not use the date to support our cause?

  • Nominate us as your charity of the year - our team will work with you to create a partnership which meets your corporate social responsibility objectives and provide wide-ranging benefits to your business.

  • Payroll Giving - ask your employer if they offer a ‘Give as you Earn Scheme’, most large employers do.

  • Raise money when you shop and dine - initiatives such as Easy Fundraising, Give as you Live, eBay for Charity and Charitable Bookings all help to raise funds in this way.

  • Recycle - we have initiatives where you can recycle your unwanted textiles, mobile phones and stamps - you’ll be helping the environment too.

  • Take part in a challenge event - run, skydive, cycle, climb or swim and raise funds for us.

  • Volunteer and donate the ‘gift of time’ - we are always looking for others to join our amazing team of volunteers who work incredibly hard on our behalf. We’ll support you with advice, skills and the tools you’ll need.
